// About the service

The basics.

01Is this legal advice?+

No. ConsultSync AI gives you a commercial review by an AI playbook. It flags risks and suggests mark-ups so you can negotiate confidently. It is not a substitute for legal advice. For complex disputes or bespoke drafting, engage a qualified construction lawyer.

02What contracts can I upload?+

Consultancy Agreements issued by developers, head contractors, or principals to design and professional-services consultants on Australian commercial projects. PDF or DOCX, up to 20MB. We're not built for residential, contractor-side D&C contracts, or non-Australian agreements.

03How long does the review take?+

Reviews complete in 10–15 minutes. You'll get the full report by email, no need to keep the tab open. Allow up to 30 minutes for very long contracts (40+ pages).

04What's in the report?+

A commercial summary, dealbreaker flags, a top-10 Red Flag Risk Table, a prioritised action list, and an editable Excel AI-generated schedule with proposed mark-ups you can send straight to the client.

05Which jurisdictions are supported?+

All 8 Australian states and territories. The playbook applies each jurisdiction's security of payment legislation and proportionate liability regime — VIC Wrongs Act Pt IVAA, the NSW DBP Act, the QLD BIF Act, the WA 2021 SOP Act and the rest. You pick the state per review; the analysis adjusts.

// Confidentiality & security

Your contracts.

01Is my contract confidential?+

Yes. Your contract is processed securely, reviewed by our system, and not shared with third parties beyond the AI processing pipeline. See the Privacy Policy for the full data-handling detail.

02Are my contracts used to train AI models?+

No. Submissions are used only to generate your review. They are not added to any training corpus. Each review is processed and the output returned to you alone.

03Where is my data stored?+

Account data and review records are stored in Supabase (Sydney, Australia region); the app runs on Vercel. Contract files sit on encrypted object storage in the same Sydney region. Detailed sub-processor information is in the Privacy Policy.

04Can I delete a review or my account?+

Yes. Delete a review (and its stored contract file) from the dashboard at any time. To close your account entirely, email support@consultsync.com.au and all associated records are removed on a defined retention schedule.

// Pricing & billing

Money.

01Can I try it free?+

Yes. Every account gets one free review on signup. No card required. After that, choose a plan that fits your monthly volume.

02Can I change plans later?+

Yes. Upgrade any time and the new plan is prorated. Downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing period. Cancel any time from Account, Billing.

03What happens if I exceed my monthly review limit?+

You can keep submitting. Each extra review is $129 incl. GST, charged to your saved card at the moment you confirm it in the app — you approve every overage before it's charged, and the count shows on your dashboard.

04Do unused reviews roll over?+

No. Quotas reset at the start of each billing period. Most consultants don't max out — the quota is sized to typical practice volume.
